Hello lovelies,

Mykrolab_ was lovely. I went there with two friends (Sanne and Liza. Sanne got a bit mad at me: "Bobby! You didn't tell me everybody would dress in black and look so stylish. I would've dressed differently, I feel uncomfortable now." oops.)

I really loved the exhibition. It looked so amazing, all these huge black/white pictures lined up on the walls. And everybody who was there looked amazing as well. I am so proud to be part of something like this. It made me really happy.

I've made pictures but they're a bit shit because I felt weird for taking pictures :P I made some with my Diana as well, but I'll develop them on monday and then hopefully I can scan them in next weekend.

Anyways, this is what I can show you for now:

I don't know if I've said it already, but all the portraits are made by Wouter Vandenbrink. He makes amazing pictures and he's a lovely person as well.

Today I had to take pictures at a 50th birthday party on my old high school. It was fun, I could borrow my dad's Nikon D300 and his flash. I think I'm going to save up for a flash like that (not exactly the same, but a little simpler and cheaper version) and a new body for my nikon. I can hopefully get one for 100 euros. Because my body just takes a day off every now and then and then it deletes all the picture I'd made and it's annoying. And the flash would be so cool. I could make amazingly pretty portraits. Anyone who wants to model for me when I have the flash?

Hello again,

I have some proper scans of my drawings. And I drew two more. The one that's upside down is only sort of acceptable if it's upside down and the boy turned out a little better than the girl. All original pictures by David Koppelaar, apart from the upsidedowndrawing, that's from pretenditneverhappened.

Drawings. Because I felt like drawing again. The original pictures are made at Fucking Pop Queers (Goes to Broadway), shot by David Koppelaar. The people are Valentijn and Nicolas, if I should believe the tags.

This weekend in pictures. I made some pictures with my new 4euro camera, but it's film so that will take a while. I'm so excited to see what will come out of it. A 4 euro squeeze-and-shoot camera, should be fun.

Hello lovely people,

A few exciting things have happened that I'd like to share:

1. We finished our documentary for school. I will soon try to upload it in HD and possibly with english subtitles. We did it in a week (bad planning) and still got 2nd place, so that's quite good I guess.
2. I applied for a job at H&M because I need money. Send good vibes my way if you have some left.
3. I met Sonny Groo a few times. He's one of those people that I admire a lot because he does so many amazing things (MYKROMAG). He's a really kind person as well.
4. Mykromag has an exposition coming up in collaboration with Streetlab (Mykrolab_) and they're going 'to capture our very creative and lovely friends here in Amsterdam'. And they asked me as well :). The pictures were made in one of the studios that I used to pass everyday when I still lived on the boat (and I'd stare through the window because it looked so pretty) so it was funny to be inside for once. Erhm. The exposition is on 28th may in Meneer de Wit (Amsterdam), so if you're in Amsterdam that day, drop by.
5. This schoolyear is over completely. I'll never have to go into that depressing building ever again. pfew.

I'm a little lazy, but I have a few picture of Spain that I can show you. I've shot them all in RAW and editted them with NX2, but it's a new program that I've yet to figure out, so the editting process is going quite slow.

Hello!

I'm back from Spain. It was most wonderful. Lots of sun and wind. I stayed in the shadows because my sunscreen decided to annoy my skin, which I scratched open blabla. So here I am, a white ghost. But I did get some extra freckles hopefully? Don't put me next to my mother though. Makes it look like I'm adopted.

Anyway. I got myself a Jetsonshaircut and washed away all the black outgrow (that makes it sound so painless. I can tell you, it was not! My whole scalp is dying). And while we were in Spain I saw the frames I've been dreaming of. They're so pretty and light and wow. They're 40 years old and the man who sold it to me was the sweetest man on earth, he started to glow when he sold me the glasses. I need to get glasses in them tomorrow so I'm now hurting my eyes and head.

I made some crappy webcampictures because I'm bored. Better pictures of my beautiful glasses and of Spain will follow soon!

p.s. My family said I look like a sciencefictionfilmgirl with this haircut and that I should get a shiny silver suit and wear shiny silver make-up and pretend to be a robot (it stopped with the silver suit, I added the rest). I'm going to do it. So excited! haha. No I probably won't.
