Some of the things I made this week. Wooden chair, Aluminium (metal) chair in horrible quality because there was no light today and some 3D tiles (made it out of clay first, then made a mould out of that, then made these tiles from clay again using the mould).

Tomorrow is the evaluation. I still need to do some stuff tonight, but then I can go to sleep. I really hope I made it. I'm doubtful, but we'll see.

I feel like I'm re-living my childhood. Doing the same things. Note the birdhouse in the topcorner.

That was an amazing house we lived in, I spend my entire childhood making stuff. We would make a dollbed, or a birdhouse or skateboard ramps or just loads of paintings. We had a huge workshop (my dad was still a furniture maker back then) where we could hang around in our old clothes and there was always something to do. I'd like to have a house like that when I'm older and when I have kids.

This is my last day of LAB, then tomorrow I should be finished. I'm glad. Looking forward to dressing normally again, watching movies, seeing my friends and sleeping.

Got one chair finished, you can actually sit on it. I'm proud. I'll show pictures later on. Now finish this bean that I am making.. And some more stuff. yay.

This is me by Martin (flickr / blog) in his room in Sweden.

This is also the outfit I've been wearing pretty much nonstop. My new motto: as long as it doesn't smell and it has pockets, it's fine by me. It's funny how I've changed. Last year I wouldn't dare to go out without a perfect outfit and my hair and make-up done, while now I just don't care anymore if I'm covered in dust or plaster because it's bound to happen anyway and everything that comes into the mechanical workshops (where I spend my entire day from 9 till 10) will come out dirty anyway, so it doesn't make sense to wear something clean every day. hihi. Also, these Zara pants are the most comfortable thing on earth. I love them.

These days I listen to: Palpitation, Fleet Foxes and Warpaint.

Finished today: Birdhouse.

It's called 'Huisje in 't Groen' which is literally translated as 'Little house in the green'.

I've successfully made my way through Activity and Mobility, now hopefully I'll make it through Lab as well.

See how this blog slowly turns from a fashionrelated blog, into a blog about nothing, into a blog about the things I make at school? I don't think many of you like it, but I can't really be bothered by that, I like showing what I make.

Back to work now. It's cold here and a big big mess.

Chairs are all I think about these days. Taking a day off today to work on my birdhouse. Only 1,5 week to go, wish me luck. After that: free time and my birthday (22 november)!

Hello,

I just came back from Malmö. It was lovely. I love Sweden to pieces, everything (most things) is so cute. And Martin was really really lovely as well, so it was good. Now I'm back in the Netherlands and I miss it already. I will move to Sweden one day.

I didn't take many pictures because Martin is an amazing photographer and I'd feel just stupid if I did. So hopefully some of the pictures he took will appear on his blog some time in the future. (Oh and once you're there, download his mixtape. I've been listening to it for days and I love it)
