I'm leaving for London / England tonight :)
Eindhoven is such a boring nothingtown. I am happy whenever I can go somewhere that is either busier or less busy or more beautiful or a million times uglier. Eindhoven is too average to be exciting.

Right now I'd like to be somewhere else, in a city buzzing with life, lazying around and go on adventures with friends. I'd like to make packages and sent letters. Stay up all night and watch the sun rise, then go home to a beautiful house with a wooden floor and a red kitchen. Sleep all day and then cuddle up with wonderful people in a big bed to watch movies and eat pizza and chocolate. Take pictures in the evening sun by the lake or the ocean. Sit on top of a mountain and look out over the world.
I have now one more week of school and then finally some rest. Expect that I only have 1 week in the Netherlands after that and planned a bazillion things to do. After that we're leaving to Australia for five weeks.
For now, reading about spaces.

His heart was beating faster than usual that day. Walking back and forth on the field, filling the strokes with colour, afraid to paint outside the lines. It brought him back to childhood days, sitting on the kitchen floor, trying to colour between the lines, failing over and over again.
But today, after years of practicing, he'd proof the world that he could do it. This time he wouldn't cross a single line.

Strijp-S is where Philips used to have all his factories. The factories are still there but life has mostly gone. It is now trying to be a new and hip cultural centre of Eindhoven.

The top of the empty parking lot is my favourite place to just sit, run around and watch the trains.
More pictures to come. I warn you.

One day I took a trip to Rotterdam, a city I've never liked. I walked around the streets, pretending I knew them, went in an artschool, pretending it was mine. I put up posters, drank chai latte in empty cafes, sat by the water and read a book. Sometimes it's nice to go on a little adventure on your own.

meow is the time is a very nice project by Martin. Krya på dig <3

Silkscreen workshop is one of the best places in school. It makes me happy. We were there today, not so much skills yet, but it will come some day.
I'm exhausted, stare around my room, think about everything I still need to do. Like go to the store. Now.

We sat outside my house and listened to True Blue, blasting through my window.
Today I'm just sitting on my bed, studying for the Design History exam and drinking chocolate tea.

I had a few wonderful days in London with Annie and Jo, whom I love a lot. Jo is amazing and made incredibly beautiful pictures that you should see.

Playing around on abandoned fields, squinting eyes to the sun, smoking cherry-cigars and picking flowers.

We saw mister Sufjan Stevens, he's a magician with a safety hat.
The amazing silkscreenfaces are by mister Jason Page.

I have been going on a lot of (nightly) walks and cycling trips. Looking at houses I'll live one day and cuddling cats.
Here in Eindhoven, the cats dominate the nights and beautiful buildings and places are hard to find. But if you do find one, you'll be happier than you would anywhere else.

Do you have a favourite house in your street? These are mine.
The people in these streets are intruiging. They never fail to make me laugh and wonder.

Adventures sometimes just happen. "It's time we had an adventure," someone will say, and we'll hum and nod in agreement because adventuring is something we've always wanted to do.

Lately, I've been thinking about wandering. Heads are filled with sprawling cities and quiet townships, of hilly terrain and salty seas.

Yes, I'm drunk. And you're beautiful. And tomorrow morning, I'll be sober but you'll still be beautiful.
♥ (I had to add a heart, for love and stuff)

I can't describe how much I love my school. It's things like this that make me love it more and more.

Oh and pssht. take a look at this.

London was amazing. I am in love with that place and miss it already, but more about that later.

Love,

A couple of weeks ago, I received my copy of Sova Nr.1 - Sleep. It is a independent, self-published magazine full of people I adore and love (and many more), all put together by my favourite cat. And there is pink and see-through paper, which is always a big plus.
It was definitely one of the nicest things I've received in a while ♥.

I'll go to sleep now. meow.

I painted, clayed, drew, textile'd my butt off, but I made it through this quarter, with better grades than I would've ever expected. Now two free weeks. It feels weird not being in school pretty much 24/7, but it's a good change. I'm going to London tomorrownight to spend a few days with two wonderful girls. I am extremely excited and I wish it was monday morning already.
